This artifact is an online classroom that embodies different tools to help teach a lesson. This tool of an online classroom has potential to be used in many different classroom settings because it can be designed around your material. This is a great way to represent this standard because of its use of technology. As well as being a great tool for parents and students, it is a place for easy access to tools and information. It is a way to inspire creativity through a screen and a wonderful way of being interactive with your students.

This artifact was an assignment called “Professional Growth Topic” it reflects upon different teachers blogs of a certain grade and topic(this one being 4th grade in an art class) This was a great way of identifying technology as a means to communicate information to students. It is also a great way for future educators and students such as myself to analyze what other educators are doing in trying time such as these. It’s a great way to pick up on different ideas that could be implemented in the future.
Technology Mission Statement:
In a world where technology is everywhere it was inevitable that it would reach education. With the advancements going on day to day, technology within education will be forever developing and changing. The tools to teach as well as to learn are endless. This course has given me the opportunity to dive deeper into the world of technology and the impacts it has, those being both positive and negative. Each lesson there was a new way to teach or learn. From learning globally and having sister schools, to learning remotely during a pandemic technology is the center piece for it all. Without easy ways to learn technology the transition to online learning would have been a disaster. Thankfully these days we have easy access material and softwares to help teach. With all the good things that come with technology there comes the bad, that being problems such as unequal access, cheating, mental health, etc. However being aware of these setbacks is just the beginning of change. That being said, technology is ever changing and i’m excited to see where it will be in the future by the time im in my own classroom.
